In an effort to add
efficiencies to the business practices and increase the income of its
members, the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and Real
Estate Professionals formed the North Texas Commercial Data Exchange (NTCDX).
The NTCDX is a member-controlled local solution designed to improve
data quality, reduce research costs enhance your marketing efforts and
return the control of the information back to the real estate
professional.
The
Mission
The mission of the
North Texas Commercial Data Exchange is to provide an affordable,
accurate, comprehensive, and locally-controlled commercial real estate
information system. The
system chosen by the NTCDX ensures that the quality of commercial real
estate data available to all segments of the industry, reduces research
and marketing costs, and adds efficiencies to the transaction process.
The
Data
The database consists
of over 22,000 office, industrial and retail properties and over 13,000
active listings in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. Both direct lease and
sublease availabilities are tracked on a suite level basis. Buildings for
sale are also tracked on a 30-day cycle. Information on the available
listings is maintained by NTCDX’s locally based research team and over
1.300 individual property representatives.
The database of information continually increases as each new
listing becomes part of the permanent database record.
All types of property can be listed on NTCDX, and a rigorous
quality control program keeps the information accurate and up to date.
Subscription
Cost
The cost to
participate in the exchange is $125.00 per month for NTCAR members.
There is a set up fee $175 per person that goes towards the costs to build
and maintain the data set. Subscription costs are calculated per licensee
for all licensees in a firm actively engaged in sale and leasing brokerage
activities. Research
personnel, administrative assistants and management not directly engaged
in brokerage receive complimentary access.
Data
Ownership
Data is owned by the
North Texas Commercial Association of Real Estate Professionals and its
subscriber member companies.
Governance
The policies and
management of the North Texas Commercial Data Exchange will be determined
by an independent Board of Directors, elected by the Charter members of
the system.
